Just a quick post to let you know that the promo I recently edited for up and coming band Pull In Emergency who are signed to MUTE, is up on the NME site. Take a look and check out their blog. In other news we're doing some more work for the Tate in combination with Grama Film. We'll hopefully be able to post some more info about it soon.

No Soul For Sale
In May the Tate Modern celebrated it's 10th birthday by having an arts fair in the famous turbine hall. Loads of artists from all over the world came down to exhibit. The video we edited and help film is up now on the tate shots site.
We've been doing quite a bit more work through Grama for the tate, and we'll post it up as and when it's done.

Finding time
We've been doing some more work with Grama Media this past week, filming a discussion panel in the turbine hall at the Tate Modern talking about the relevance of public art Nick's cutting it now, and It'll be on line to watch in the near future.
Meanwhile I got round to finally finishing the grade on the video I made for Acer Maple last month. I shot it with Phil Michael Lane at a recording studio in Shoreditch called Treacle, which is a great little location/studio.
Here's the finished version

30
We really are pretty bad at posting updates at the moment. We do have the excuse of working about 30 days straight though (and me having a 30th birthday). We've also been working together through Grama Media on a few projects, which has been good fun. As well as this, I recently directed a live performance promo for Acer Maple which i'm currently grading, hopefully it'll be done in the next week or so, in the meantime here's a little book trailer I recently put together for Picador.

Latest work and a bit of an update.
hello! sorry, we are managing about one post a month. really busy at the moment, been shooting for hsi, a couple of virals and lots of stills commissions for sony.
anyway, here is a link to something we've just filmed and edited a little film celebrating the anniversary of the magazine The Pavement. it is written for the homeless, helping them find services and information on issues affecting their lives. we didn't have any lights for this by the way...which hopefully explains why the interviews look the way they do.

(belated) update.
apologies for the lack of posts - we've both been crazily busy, having just shot the Pavement documentary, which we're now editing. We're also starting work on a 'making of' a commercial for HSI very soon.

Finally
Finally managed to get a chance to post something. Here's a cut down version of an epk I shot in Brighton just before christmas, for the author Peter James, in which he talks about the inspiration and location for his upcoming novel. It was the first chance I've had to test out a dslr to film with. I used a Canon 7D, and am getting another chance to use one of these tomorrow as I'm filming something else for Pan Macmillan.

Seasonal
Apologies for the lack of updates, as everyone tries to get things done and dusted before christmas we've been no different. Nick flew off to Spain yesterday to do some filming, I'm off to Brighton for two days to film an EPK for Peter James' novel, then next week we're both off up north to direct a promotional video for an upcoming online sports game. Between all this we've been writing like mad on a number of potentially really exciting projects, so our christmas break is going to be well earned this year.

Marks and Spencer's Christmas TV channel goes live
We've just finished directing a series of online videos for Marks and Spencer, which will be featured on their M&S TV channel to launch their 2009 Christmas campaign. The films range from a lingerie buying guide to gift ideas for the kids, and were produced through Adjust Your Set.
About half of the films we made are up on the site now, and the rest will be appearing over the next few weeks, so we'll keep you updated.
